Information you submit

You can read the guide without creating an account. If you use the question feature, the text you enter and relevant excerpts from this public guide are sent to OpenAI so an answer can be generated. Do not submit a student’s name, contact information, school identification number, medical details, education records, or other sensitive or identifying information.

How questions are handled

The application sends each question through OpenAI’s Responses API with response storage disabled. OpenAI states that API data is not used to train its models unless the API customer opts in. OpenAI also states that default abuse-monitoring logs may contain prompts and responses and may be retained for up to 30 days, subject to stated exceptions. Disabling response storage does not by itself provide Zero Data Retention. See OpenAI’s current data-controls documentation.

This site does not save questions or answers in an application database. Questions are sent in a POST request, so they are not placed in the page URL or ordinary access-log request line.

Technical data and third parties

The hosting provider and normal web infrastructure may process technical request information such as an IP address, browser information, request path, response status, and timestamp for security and operations. The site does not install advertising or analytics trackers. Page assets currently load from jsDelivr and Buy Me a Coffee; those providers receive the network information needed to deliver their resources. Following an external link is subject to that provider’s privacy practices.

Retention and choices

Because the application does not maintain user accounts or a question database, it has no saved question history for users to access or delete. You may avoid all question processing by using only the static guide pages. For privacy questions or to report a problem, open an issue in the project’s public issue tracker without including personal information.
